Street Kids of Old Delhi
These street kids ran up to us.
They were great, and hungry and also being kids. At first, they faked some crying, then they were mostly curious....and some were supposed to be in school - at 11:00am Monday. They all had energy, they were all great...they also had a 'handler' woman telling them what to do... See how it turned out.

Free Women
In the face of many obstacles, we meet a courageous group of women who have organized to change their world.
Throughout India, women are forming 'self-help groups' (SHGs) to combat the many issues facing them. With the great help of Vani Chenguttuwan, we spoke at length with the SHG in Kalugumalai, in the state of Tamil Nadu, about their successes.
Many of these women's organizational successes came after intensive work with the DHAN Foundation and its Kalanjiam Community Banking program ('Wealth' in the Tamil language).
These organizations provided on-the-ground support for the women, micro-finance for small-business start-ups, and extensive education in crafts production and marketing - traditional skills enhanced by good business practices.

Think Like A Forest
In the forest there is no such thing as garbage! Everything works together without harming anybody. They find ways to get along because they need each other. Pierre talks about how people can learn to think like a forest.
When we think like a forest, we seen many things newly. We see that waste does not exist, we can make our own food, and we can take only what we need - no more. We see that all living things have a right to live their lives, too. We see how to live together, and we see how to run a business - all by thinking like a forest.
